Upload files one click files hosting website
How many file hosting websites do you know? RapidShare, Megaupload, Hotfile, zshare, mediafire, netload? 90% of the time I only search for files that is hosted in RapidShare and the remaining 10% goes to Megaupload. Did you know that there are actually about 200 of them? I believe the list will continue to grow when a lot of people are seeing how RapidShare turned into the most popular file hosting in the world and obviously they make tons of money from their premium system.
Last week I compiled a comprehensive list of file spreading websites which is able to upload your files to multiple file hosting websites. You upload one time and get 5 or more links. However if you want even more links than that, you’ll have to manually upload again. 3 years ago when team CMSZone was active, they created a free tool called RapidUp that is able to automatically upload files to multiple sites. Years gone by and they haven’t update the tool making it unusable. Here’s another free file uploader alternative tool which works on 200 file hosting sites.
z_o_o_m’s File & Image Uploader is the most comprehensive and the best program of its kind that supports uploading files to more than 200 servers.
It is possible to use with premium accounts if you have them, meaning you can upload the files to your premium account storage space. It also supports parallel uploading with multiple threads so you can finish uploading your files much faster compared to only 1 thread. There is no advertisements on the program, easy to use and supports multi-language. If you found experience any problems or bugs on the program, you can send an email directly from the program itself. Finally, you can check if you have an up to date program from Help > Update. Saves you the trouble from manually checking on the official website.
There are 3 versions for File & Image Uploader. The free version supports up to 8 parallel uploads with up to 10GB maximal daily data transfer if necessary. It also has a start-up window like a nag screen, and restriction against using some host and some accounts with some functions disabled. Another version would be the registered version which would be based on donation. If you donate $3 or more, you get the registration number. You get up to 100 parallel uploads, 50GB maximal daily data transfer and no restrictions on on host or functions. Finally there’s also a commercial version where everything is unlimited but there’s no information from the official website on how much it cost.
During testing, FileUploader process created a lot of CPU spikes during uploading and it made the program felt like the application has hung.
Hopefully the developer of FileUploader will fix this in future versions. Good news is there is a new uploading engine coming soon which offers much more functions, less bugs and are cross-platform (can run on Linux, MacOS …). Could take a few weeks or even months to remake a new uploader.
